Perigee or Supermoon phenomenon will happen on March 19, 2011. It is a phenomenon when the moon is closer to the earth. Philvolcs or the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology says that the Supermoon phenomenon is not related to the Japan earthquake/tsunami disaster which occured on March 11, 2011.
